WorldSkills

WorldSkills Victoria focuses on competitions and events that highlight and develop trade skills. These activities provide apprentices and trainees opportunities to showcase their talents, gain recognition and advance their expertise in various vocational fields, fostering excellence and innovation within the trades community.

From Victoria to the world

Victoria is a proud participant in regional, national and international WorldSkills competitions. WorldSkills promotes and builds a skills culture, celebrates excellence and showcases vocational education and training, trades and apprenticeships by fostering career pathways for Victoria’s young people, empowering them to become successful global citizens.

Designed by industry and skills experts, WorldSkills competitions assess an individual’s knowledge, practical skills and employability against strict criteria. Focusing on the highest quality of training standards, employers and training providers can use the competition to benchmark their own apprenticeship and training programs.
